Ok i got a game backup DVD.Now what?

i followed steps in one of these threads & it all worked to perfection.i used DVD Decrypter to rip the image & MDS File.Then i burnt the "MDS" file to a DVD like it told me to do.

I put my original PS2 game & my burnt DVD With the backup on it in my DVD burner because i wanted to see if all the same data on the orignial & copied one was exactly the same & they are exactly same folders & files on the Burnt DVD as the orignial one.So thats all kool.So it riped & burnt all good,correct?

But it would not play in my playstation2 console.Please do not tell me that i need a modchip to play my burnt DVD Game!...But if i do tell me anyways.I've not got a modchip & i ain't got the money right now to buy one,so that would suck.i was thinking that a dvd game would work as a stand alone like a DVD Movie dies after it is burnt.what gives?

I heard that all games need to be burnt on high quality dvds to get the best results.I know im not useing the best & $8.00 for 10 dvds.Im useing the DVDs shown below.They work for backing up DVD Movies so why wouldin't they for DVD Games im thinking.Altough i know a PS2 Is different then a DVD PLayer even though a PS2 PLays movies.

For goodness sake! There are millions of threads explaining that you either need:

1. A modchip

or

2. Swap Magic Disks to play and a way of opening your PS2 (eg. Flip Top Lid)

PLEASE search before making new threads like this!

The thing is i have searched & if there out there & i missed it or did not understand it then is because this forum is so damn cluttered & hard to understand.Theres so many ways to do this & that.you got this & that & that & this.i have came across subjects that look like what i want but then fall through when a few things they exspain are not exactly what i needed help with after all.

If i cound understand this site i would never make one damn thread.theres got to be over 1 million threads made up & its hard to find things here because of that.I used the searech engine here & same crap.couldint understand what i was looking 4 because its so packed & cluttered here.

Thats why i posted this here.i wanted to go strait MY Source & not have to sort out the cluttered crap here to find what i need to know sence its so damn hard to find what you need to know here.

Thanks for whatever you gave me here though.

You need to mod your PS2
It will play back up movies, but not games.
You need Swap Magic discs and a fliptop, not the one the slimline comes with but an aftermarkt one you buy.

that or get a good modchip installed
those are the only ways really.

on the slimline you can get Swap Magic and slimtool also instead of a fliptop.

Maxcell discs are fine if they say made in Japan.

I just now educated myself alot on this matter.I have a bulky PS2.Look at the site i added below.it tought me alot.i saved it to favs for when i get SwapMagic3 Plus.
