I copied this movie using DVD shrink alone, I reauthored the movie to backup just the main title and 5.1 AC3 english audio channel, I had shrink create an ISO image file and burned it to disk using Imgburn.

Here's a guide on how to reauthor using DVD shrink
http://www.jlathamsite.com/dvd/DVDShrink3.htm

You can get Imgburn here
http://www.imgburn.com

If you're still having trouble, try using DVDFab decrypter to rip the video files to your HDD (it creates a VIDEO_TS folder and puts the video files in it), once it's done, run DVD shrink and use it to open the files created by DVDFab (use the open files tab and browse to the VIDEO_TS folder and choose it), shrink will analyze/import the files, at this point you can use shrink as you normally would.

Get DVDFab here
http://www.dvdidle.com/free.htm

If you're still having problems with trying to backup this movie, then it could be that the disk itself is bad (may have some bad spots on it), you should return it for another copy and try it again.

You should get AnyDVD, there shouldn?t be any problems with any movies after. If you don?t wanna put out the cash, DVD43 is free. Slysoft ?anydvd? is offering discounts to Afterdawn users, best of all you get to try it for 30 days, hope this helps.

@ 99masond

Are you using AnyDVD with Shrink and Decryptor? I have this movie and successfully backed it with the same programs. The only difference is I used AnyDVD with 'em. There was nothing difficult with this.

Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie

No problem, sometimes backing up the movie only will do the trick.

Happy burning :)
