Alright just got my DS. I am wanting to buy a M3 the SD one.

I like alot of people dont like to run Passme and have it take even more room.

So Im VERY interested in doing FlashMe to my DS. I have Firmware Version 2. Im pretty sure I found it by removing game while in Room A pictochat. It went a Dark Blue what i heard is FW 2.

I heard some stuff about how you should not flashme a DS with FW Version 4 or older. Is this true or did i read it wrong.

Thank You :)

I actually know the answer to that question Halo13

Yes if you flash a DS FW version 1 with Flashme you will be able to play NDS games off a GBA Flash Cart.

Just to let you know also you need PassKey to Flashme a DS so ya.

i'd say you definately should. It is very easy as long as your careful and DONT turn it off till it says no matter what. having the passme in all the time is annoying and i heard it takes a bit of power up too. Just make sure you short the sl1 that took me a bit to figure out

Oh my... this is all very interesting to me. Can someone give me a link to some more info? (Gawd that sounds like a commercial)

I remember hearing about gba flash drives, etc. I just wasn't aware that something was available for the DS; and I would love to get more info.

Thanks!

YES if you stick the game on a SD or CF card then into the GBA Cart (supercard)

if you are using supercard you will have to convert the ROM with the supercard software first

you should be able to use neoflash just like supercard and the other ones because they all do the same thing

but if you have to much problems with it i recommend the supercard because its cheap and it does the job great

they always update the software for new game glitches, i havent had one game that does not work on the supercard snd i have a lot of backups

i am using the supercard software from http://eng.supercard.cn/
but i dont think that this will work for you because this software splits the rom in to 2 files

file 1 is the ROM
file 2 is the save file

I'm still looking into buying this setup. I just want to make sure I understand it all.

If I buy the supercard cf and the superpass to go with it (Totalling around $60) and I already have a CF card to use, will I have everything I need to run backup NDS titles?

there is superpass 1 for old DS
and there is superpass2 for the new DS

im not to sure on how to check if your DS is the new one or not
