I'm using Nero 6.6.1.4 and I can burn everything else like data and music but it says that the .img file is an incompatible format. I could burn with using these apps before I had a virus and had my system re-installed. My burner is only 2 months old. Do the rest of these application have a problem burning because Nero doesn't burn? DVD Decrypter starts to burn then stops at less then 1 percent then eventually fails and gives me an error. Same this with Alcohol 120%. Can any body help?
The version of Nero you are using contains some bugs and is causing problems.
I would recommend you uninstall that version, run this clean tool
http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/en/Clean_Tools.html to remove all traces and then install this version
Gwendolin, does Nero 6.6.0.18 work with Windows XP service pack 2? Last time I had to upgrade to the version of Nero I have now or it wouldn't work.
Cyprusrom, is there an easy way I can copy the error log from DVD Decrypter and Alcohol 120%? I never had a problem until now so I didn't have to do it.
I don't know about Alcohol 120%, as I have never used it.
With DVD Decrypter, go in "My Computer"->"Program Files"-> "DVD Decrypter" and see if you find it there.
If not, next time you burn, click on "View" to see the log. You can save the log to a location from where you can later access it, or just copy/paste in your post.
I thought I had it fixed because I was able to burn a couple img files but I'm back getting errors again. Here is the log from DVD decrypter:

It says incompatible format. Does that mean discs? I'm using Maxell DVD. I've always used them. Any help would be appreciated
