i have question why when i reach the point where it say press start ( i press start) select new game and it bring me back to the same place where it say press start

yea, i remember when i first rented the first metal gear solid game no instructions was with the game most ps2 games you push "x" to start thought the game was defective.

hey guys i just backed up my ps2 metal gear solid 3 subsitence
game. i'm runing the SM 2.0. when i run the game
after it says to insert disc the screen goes black and stays that way.
anyone know what to do here?
