I don't know if I can ask this question or not but I'm going to try to ask it anyway and I'm not tring to get booted off, but does anybody know what the best place to download music, movies and games from? Or any hints on how to find out? If you cannot answer this question can you just say like simply cannot answer the question or something like that. Thinks a bunch.

You could look at Limewire for starters - try a Google search. Others may provide alternative suggestions.

soul seek is the best for music, bit torrents or IRC for movies and games.

For the best quality mp3s use EAC (exact audio copy) to rip your audio CDs and LAME to encode them. Follow this guide:

Bittorrent. Here is a great site but you will need a client:http://ts.kurtubba.com/ Azureus is probably used most but is memory intensive. I use BitTornado, very easy and not very heavy at all. There are guides at Afterdawn regarding various clients and if you're behind a router, you'll have to port forward to achieve the best download speed.
