hi there :)

My first post here although i've been reading these forums for a long while now... tried all the guides and they've been VERY helpful.

I'm a swap magic 3.6 user... it works fine.. but it's with burning that i've got a problem.. dvd decrypter & nero seems to fail "not a valid PS2 disc" error even though i burn at 4X MAXIMUM (tried even slower) or when they run (im using verbatim 16Xs & taysu yuden 8Xs) they skip like mad! i just can't get it.. tried to read the guides again & again here and i'm doing just what they're saying so i'm kinda lost...

But today i tried burning with the latest version of alcohol 120%... it's nice! backups run real well on my PS2, quite fast... but they still skip in videos! the problem is, my burner supports 16X speed, and even though i set 4X speed under alcohol it burns at 8X minimum..

So, any idea of how i can burn at 4X or even 2X with alcohol? seems like there's an option & it burns at 8x minimum thats annoying :-( i think thats what makes my games freeze.. and with some games it's just insane... thanks in advance if you have any ideas...
