Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section, but I didn't know where else to post it.

lately everytime I have tried to download files off a torrent site I get this error:
error: problem connectiong to track<urlopen error (10061,'connection refused')>

Anyone know why I keep getting this error? I am using bittorrent to download.

OS: winxp ser.pack 2

Any help would be grealy appreciated!!

Found on another site:

"What is ?error 10061 problem connecting to tracker?, and how do I fix it?

* This means that you cannot for whatever reason establish a connection to the Tracker needed to download a file. This is commonly caused by firewalls/routers, trackers/servers going down or being too busy, or your net connection going down. You may also be banned from using this tracker either for leeching from it. More often than not with this error you can simply leave your client window open and it will sort itself out, or you can close the BT Client and try resuming the torrent. If the problem is persisting make sure the Tracker you wish to connect is operating, and make sure your firewall/router is not interfering with TCP traffic on the BT ports."

I would guess either the trackers down or you've got a problem with your firewall. Try the OpenOffice torrent to test it. You can get it here:

http://distribution.openoffice.org/p2p/

You only need to run it for a few minutes. If it works you can then delete it. If it doesn't work you know the problem is your end.
