I get my TY's from http://www.supermediastore.com/ it is a USA online store. I havent had trouble with them yet. The last shipment I got was a 200 Pack of TY's (TYGO2) and they where $60 with free UPS ground shiping. I ordered them on a freiday and got them on Tuesday. Which the company is in CA and im in MI. so was fast delivery and havent had trouble with any of the disc yet.

I have no trouble with them on any of my hardware I make backups for. (PS2, Xbox, GameCube, DVD's) They all work great.

I used to buy cheap media from Walmart but got tired of having DRE's on my game backups and my DVD's skipping or not playing on 2 of my cheap players.

I finaly searched and found TY's at the site above and for only around $10 more that i would pay at walmart and the quility is defently 100% better. I havent had any trouble with DRE's on my game backups and the DVD's play without pixilation/freezing all the way through the movie now on the 2 DVD players I was having trouble with.

Im looking to buy some too. I know you are supposed to burn at 4x, and the 4x TY's are cheaper than the 8x. If I buy 4x's and burn at 4x is this ok. Or should I burn at 2x?

Hehe, I'm using TDK at speed 8x . SO I guess it doesnt really matter.

I bought it from www.tigerdirect.com its cheap.

I order through their catalogs though.

At tigerdirect.com it cost 64.99 and it comes with 100. So, If I were you, buy the one at that site someone just posted above. Its cheaper.

The reason I ordered from tigerdirect is bc thats the only online Media I can think of. (Not bestbuy or retail store).

I got my TDK's at CompUSA. They were on sale $29 for 100. I grabbed 400 of them. 200 DVD-R and 200 DVD+R.

I can burn the TY 4x DVD at 8x speed. You could try it and if you have trouble then slow down to 4x. But I burn them at 8x with no problem.

Yeh they ship to UK but I imagine there will be a hefty postage cost.
I think these are good for Taiyo Yuden's Uk Retailer
