I recently installed the demo for ver7 but decided to go back to ver 6 but whenever I try to re-install nero I keep getting the nerocd2kchecktool error and the installation is stopped. I have tried all the nero cleaning tools various registry check/clean programs even a re-install/uninstall of version 7 (which worked by the way. I have tried to install all versions of nero but other than ver 7 nothing later than version 5.0 works.

Has anyone had this and knows how to fix it.
