i cant figure out how to burn a file from my hard drive to a DVD-r disk

seen i downloaded the naruto the movie from online.and i got the file and saved it to my video files but when i put the DVD-r disk into my C drive all i do is either go into NERO but that dosnt work to well but then i go to windows media player and try to burn it there but it said that an error has accorrd and i cant burn it or somethin like that.

Download GSpot and analise the movie and tell us the results and we will get you started

i got both programs and i put the movie in GSpot but how do i anylize it

On the GSpot screen it should tell you video type and audio type
