I recently burnt two copies of Neo Geo Battle Coliseum, one at 2x speed and the other at 4x. I played both of them and they have the same issues, there's no fighting, just the intro, options and character selection. when im done selecting characters, the whole screen goes black except for the PRESS START BUTTON for the second player. Plus, there's no sound effects and only one music clip.

Could it be a bad iso?

Not to point fingers, but by any chance did you download these? If so it's very possible the .iso was a bad rip on someone else's part.

Possibly a bad rip from GamesTorrents (80% of their games work well).

Not sure if Rumble Fish will work (it's a japanese game). My chip supports NTSC, some PAL (60Hz) and NTSC-J/JAP.
