Nero 6 VCD mode

Hello,
I am having problem burning jpgs in Nero burning rom 6.6.x.18. When it goes through the burning process I get message preparing items, and everything stop after that. If I try to restart it, the programs shut. Does anyone have any suggestion.

Thanks for the reply, Gwendolin, BTW, you notice that the DMA is turn off for the burner. The problem there is that it is on it's own control card, and I have not found a way to change it, but so far as burning other things it has not cause any problems. Below is the log file from Nero.

I forgot to add that work in version Nero 5.5, but in Nero 6, I can't get to work. I have try contacting Nero tech's ,but they don't seem to understand the problem. Plus it take them for ever to reply back.

For some reason the Nero tech, keep thinking I am referring Nerovision, instead of Nero burning rom program. Am I calling it by the wrong name?

I thought I had the latest firmware update, but I should have look on the Germany site. The NEC America site is still showing the 2.1a as update.

I am still trying to resolve DMA problem. With the burning on is own controller, XP is not allowing me to change any options. The company who make the card is sending program to talk to the controller.
One last thing, When I do this burning of the jpeg, Nero does not open or talk to the burning. Nero goes through it routine, but stop after the message flash on the screen " preparing items".
Which lead me thinking that the program may have the problem when trying Nero burning rom in VCD mode/option

Hey gwendolin,
In the last few weeks I have been trying to work through this problem of copy jpg in VCD mode of Nero burning rom. One thing I have discover, it work fine when I use 6.6.x.13 it work fine. When I do the updates the Nero burning rom program quit working in VCD mode. I have trying talking to Nero tech, but all they keep telling me is reinstall the program. I may have to just go backward, and keep that way until I find way to resolve the problem.
