Hi everyone.

I've been searching for almost 3 days and I still haven't found the reason for this error to occur.
I'll try to explain the best I can.

I've been using DVD Decrypter for quite a while now and though I had some problems (I use TDK x4 dvd's and they only worked if I made a test burn before the actual burn, and even then the speed would just go past what I selected. But they still worked on my ps2) about a week ago it just stoped working and I can't burn. It gives me this I/O error and stops the burn during the leadIn.

I saw someone saying that it was a good idea to try a different media brand so I bought some Sony 1x-16x but the error is the same.

Here is the log:

Is this what you asked for?

It gives me an error when I click the save button so I can't show you more.

About the memory, I had some other things running but when I burn I usually exit everything so I don't think that's the problem.
I used booktype because I tried a DVD+R the other day and now i can't remember where the option is :p could you tell me where to change this pls.

Well my drive sure is picky... doesn't like TDK and Sony

hello,

this shows you how to change the booktype setting

http://www.k-probe.com/bitsetting-booktype-faq.php

if you can get your hands on another disk, then try that

if this fails, post this log in the Nero section, then someone with more experience with these logs might beable to help you more

btw,on that picture you shown me,click on the ASPI tab, tell me if the aspi layers are installed and working correctly

Hi

Yes, the aspi layers are working (green bar).

I'll follow your advice and try another media.
And I'll also post this log on the Nero section.

Thank you for your time.

I am having the same problem. Using decrypter/shrink/anydvd. Made many burns w/no problems. Tried to back up Harry Potter goblet and got DVD Decrypter I/O error, Device [1:0:0] Matshita UJ-81D 1.03 (e) (ata), scsistatus: oxo2, Interpretation:Check condition. I get this error when using Ridata +r dl. I don't get the error when using Staples single layer and shrink
