Have tried 4 different programs and I get the same results. Problems about 1/2 way through getting an 'Unrecovered Read Error'.

Any suggestions?

Using DVD43, tried ICopydvds2, Xcopy Platinum, Xcopy Gold, DVD Decrypter and DVDFab Decrypter both with and without DVD43

You're getting a read error - you may have a bad press. Try cleaning off the disc or try another drive to rip.
Give the link soberfree gave a shot.
If this fails exchange it for a new one.

I had no problems at all, I just used DvdShrink and then nero7
