Ok, so whenever I put in a USB devise, such as my USB stick into my laptop, I get the message that "this devise can perform faster." However this didn't always use to happen. It just happened all of a sudden. And I am sure that I have USB 2.0. Is there anyway that I can fix this?

check in the device manager to see if have an enhanced usb controller by via, intel or sis.
