I'm using NeroVision express to burn my dvds and I'm a little bit confused on how to cut scenes. I've figured out that when u want to cut something you press the red cisors from where u start and then again when you finish and then you move the green arrows and anything thats not in between them will be cut out. Now I'd like to cut out something from the middle of the movie which I'm not able to do without letting the other half of my movie go bye-bye. Help will be gladly appriciated.

You can use the split item tool (to the left of the scissors in NeroVision 4) to "split" up a file into separate clips. You use the position arrows (next to the time display) to set the exact split position. The frame displayed will be the first in the new clip created. You can then delete the clip entirely by right clicking it in the timeline.

DVDRemake is a good program for this.
