How do I go about putting a rather large movie (ie King Kong) to a DVD+DL movie only? I can do an exact copy, but I don't want the menus or warnings or anything. I tried using DVD2One and did a movie only backup, then burned with no joy. Used DVDDecrypter in ISO mode to do a total disc copy then burned and it worked like a champ. I like just the movie only though.

Use shrink and save as iso burn with decrypter or imgburn.

Yeah, if you're talking a straight up main title only, then yes, reauthor in Shrink is the way to go.

But if you want to retain everything (that's relevant, at least), then you can do the whole disc back up but remove the annoying audio files for unnecesary videos. If you really wanna get nuts, go to VOBB and blank all the crap you don't want and then you'll have a perfect backup of the entire disc minus all the files you don't want.

As already stated, you can backup just the main movie only by using DVD Shrink in reauthor mode (keep only the 5.1 AC3 english audio channel).

Note: If burning to DL media, have shrink create an ISO image that you can burn to disk using DVD Decrypter. When backing up choose to save target as "ISO image file and burn with DVD decrypter".
