Now-a-days, file sharing is a big risk. Most of the downloader/uploader are mainly student or young people who usualy don't have enough money to buy expensive games or other stuffs they like.
But it seems like some greedy people/company want to hunt these innocent people by throughing a big reward - "If anyone give me a file sharer, I'll give him half a million". Yes, that what is happening in this country where I live in.
Looks like if somebody want to make money very quickly he can easily pick up a IP address & give it to that company. In bit-torrent the the IPs are visible so it is very easy to see who are the "Seeder/Peers".
I'm wondering ...
->Is there any way to hide this IPs on all torrent clients? or
->Showing only the "Nick name" instade of "IPs"...!!
->Is there any torrent client which can hide IPs?
->Is there any "patch-tool" which can hide the IPs?
->Only tracker can see the IP, nobody else.
->What the torrent client developers think about this problem?
->How can we be secure?
->Dose anyone know anything?

All I want to know how to hide my IP inside the Torrent clients, as while I downloading or uploading other Peer or Seeder will not see IP...?
If anybody connect through any torrent client he/she can easily see others IPs and he/she can pick any IP and give it to those company and earn half a million.
In all torrent clients the IPs are visible so anybody can get a torrent client and start to download any file and watch how many people a connected through that file. So, he/she can pick 1/2 IP and give it to those companys.
You can use software like IP hider platinum, theres plenty others out there, i think you can mess about with the setting inside the client so you'r downloading through a proxy etc too.
PG2= it just block some IPs -> but, don't hide users IP during file-sharing
IP Hiding soft= these only useful for annonymous browsing on net NOT for File-sharing.
I need to hide my IP during file sharing, as any person can connect thru that file sharing clinet and can easyly pick an IP and give it to that company and get half a million....
