I'm not sure how well that would work using only Nero as I have not tried it, but I have done it successully using DVD Decrypter in file mode. The thing is DVD decrypter will only rip DVD format. Most likely, your PS2 game is DVD-ROM, so it will work. Some rare and older PS2 games may be on CD-ROM, however.
