ImToo DVD Ripper Platinum Shutting Down !!HELP!!

I am in the process of converting my dvd's to psp format using the above software. On some dvd's it works fine with others it creates different problems.
When i try to load some dvd's it says that the dvd is locked and i need to start win media player to open the dvd before i start ripping . I do exactly what it says but it will not list any chapters and hence cannot begin ripping.
The other problem that i have that is driving me up the wall is when i try to load a dvd for ripping it begins to load all the chapters and then half way through loading chapters it brings up a windows error box. The box says " IM Too DVD ripper has encountered a problem and needs to close. You have to click on OK and when you do it wants to send an error report to Microsoft and wheather i click on send or dont send it automaticly shuts down IM Too DVD ripper.
The error report contains information about data collection which may make my system vunerable.
I have emailed IM TOO and they have told me to download version 4.0.43.0317 but i am already using that version.
Is anyone else having the same problems that i am ?
I am hoping that there will be an easy fix for my problem or its just the fact that i am not doing something that i should be.
If anyone can shed any light on these problems i will be over the moon
