Hi!

I'm trying to put together a disc with my favourite episodes of Simpsons and could use some help: is there an easy way to get episodes from different discs onto one dvd and still keep subs? So far I havn't managed to do it without loosing the subs...oh, and I also want to have a menu! :-)

You're probably gonna have to rip all the relevant episodes (if not the entire discs) to the HDD. I think there's a program out there called, "DVD Remaker" or something along those lines. I have no clue how to use it. Maybe someone else does.

You could always do the Shrink route. Just reauthor everything and put your selected episodes on the one disc. But like you said, you'll lose the menus.

You can use DVDRemake to cut out things you don't want on a DVD and just keep the episode you want or you can use this program and Join different VOB (clips) files to one DVDR: http://ifoedit.wh.fr0zen.com/joinclip.html

I came across this thread reading AfterDawn..... never used it yet but I heard about it! Let me know if this helps.

Well, so far I've tried Nero recode where I can rip the episodes I want and keep subs but get no menu, I've also been able to replace episodes on one disc with episodes from another using DVDremake, but replacing the menu with images that shows the correct episode is a bit complicated...probably should find a program to author the episodes ripped using Nero...
