I just downloaded a dvd5 harry potter and it was split into 6 files they were HARRY_1.MDS , HARRY_1.MDF , HARRY_1.MD0 , HARRY_1.MD1 , HARRY_1.MD2 and finally HARRY_1.MD3.

The problem is that when I put the mds file into alcohol 120% onto the burn image wizard the usual details telling you how much space it takes up and etc does not come up and when I click next it says "unrecognised file format for recording please insert a recognised file for recording" So I was puzzled there.

But I have another way to come around it by using isobuster. First of all I opened Isobuster put in the MDS file and it came up with all the files inside. I right clicked the red iso tag like usually this is what I do to extract the files inside and clicked on extract HARRY_1 but staright away it says "unreadable sector" and the options are omit sector, replace with zero or replace with dummy data. I tried all three options to extract but all outcomes were not desirable as none worked.

So please after the long explanation can anybody please tell me why this happens and how to fix it as its really annoying me as I spent 10 hours trying to find a way for what is suppose to take 30 minutes.

Open up DVD Decrypter and set the mode to "ISO write". Add the mdf/mds and then burn as usual ;)
