hi, i've seen many unanswered threads about converting ntsc ps2 games to pal. So, can someone please tell me where i can get a converter so that i can convert my ntsc kingdom of hearts to pal. Thanks.

Mate you there if so posrt back here within the next ten mins because i have a link for a program to do this converting for you
the reason i cant post here is because its against the rules so be a waste of my time.

I just don't see why everyone does this?
I used Swap Magic and although there was a slight screen cut off all my PAL games played fine once you set the creen mode right.
Now with the chip i have no problem at all.
Then you can also by a small box that will convert the signel to the TV as well.

yeah ive got a PAL machine and i use swap magic and all my NTSC games play fine, some are a bit dark, but nothin the brightness cant sort out

I dont think this converting NTSC to PAL really works with software. I downloaded a NTSC version Action replay max and I followed a tutorial and swapped some of the files around so the codelists were PAL and then made and ISO. My PS2 Version is PAL and it plays in Black and white i downloaded this software and converted it and it wouldn't work. I dont know if it does work but be prepared to waste disks. I have an Matrix MX4v1.1 chip and my NTSC game boots black and white. Why?

use Swap Magic 3++ can change the colour system (NTSC,PAL)
use video mode for those PAL game to ntsc(video mode to ntsc),
Press (SQUARE) although you can use X its advised that you use Square

ntsc games don't work on my tv- they come out black and white. are you there now tam2oo5?

so get a converter for your TV, then you will not have to convert every game you get that is in the wrong region. Yes i know they are about $250, or you can just get a good chip.

Why a Matrix Infinity, one of the best chips out there, is playing your games in B&W i have no idea, only thing i can think of is that there is a setting you need to change in the chips settings.
I know mine has settings for regions that will fix both that and the "Y" position as well. I just set it to force PAL mode and set Y position fix to yes and they play fine.

You can use a program called Y-fix to patch it. Of course it doesn't fix it perfect but it's relatively unnoticeable.
