right then, go to do a burn, but before you click 'write', tick the simulation box instead and untick write; Nero will then go thru the motions of a burn with a blank disc but won't write to the disc, but does finish with another section of burn logfile, which you should paste here...

Hello...

Back at home,(AD, lol) finally...

Can't find the 'Simulation' button? This screenshot is from Burning Rom, but on Express you can find it under the button 'More'...

If it ain't broken it doesn't need fixing...
Newbies, look for it here first: http://www.google.co.uk/

- a-ha, your burner is still not recognised even in 6.6.0.18, so you either need to use Nero 7, or a.n.other burning software....

Dunno... That's something i don't really know... They don't call Creaky the Neronator for nothing!! No one knows more about Nero than him! He can see stuff that i can't understand... Let me have a bit of study on this detail...

Well I think the discs are fine otherwise my pc wouldn't pick them up fullstop. Also can't burn on CD-R with windows writable folder either only DVD's which then convinces me it must be the disc but then it burns something on them and then I get all confused because after all I am a women!
