Hi,
I just started using BitComet 2 days ago , I just finished downloading my file. (I'm not to great with the computer lingo so bear with me please) My boyfriend connected the files which dont even say they are a specific file they just say File. I have never seen this for anything I have ever downloaded. Well Anyways my question is How do we change it to a file we know how to use? Any help would be really appreciated, I can be reached on my messanger : bethzandjoed@hotmail.com I apologize if I posted this in the wrong catagory or anything.

The only thing u did wrong was post ur email in a "public" thread. Plz remove for ur own good :)

As for ur question......first may I ask what type of torrent it was?, ie: movie, game, music.

But my guess is that they are packed w/ WinRAR, wich means the good stuff is compressed within those files. So what u need is WinRAR to "extract" the file from the rar. Download the latest WinRAR (i suggest u get a torrent) and install it. Then go to where ur files are. Right click on the first stack of books, and "extract here". Then the unpack procces will begin and ull be left w/ ur "goodies" when done :)
