i have a black ps2 backup (dvd) and once i turn it on it then freezez in
some point.. help ...

Sounds like a media problem. What discs are you using to burn?

maxell DVD+R , but i dont think thats the problem because i use it for all other games and works just fin..

There seems to be quite a few problems with Black. Once you have a copy which works there seems to be a problem making another copy from it, so your not alone....you sound like you' burnt a few games before so the only advice I can offer is to make sure there are no other programs running when burning. Mcafee firewall is bad for making games freeze during play, also check your screensaver is turned off.

My copy of Black plays perfectly. What's the Media ID of those Maxell DVD+R's?

91. Q. What is the Media ID of a DVD and how can I find it?
A.The Media ID of a DVD is the true measure of it's quality. It contains prerecorded info about the disc's manufacturer. The quality of the disc will vary depending on the media code. The media code isn't visible on the disc or the packaging. To check the media ID, Open DVD Decrypter, insert your disc, and check what it says under Media ID or Manufacturer ID. You can also use a program called DVD Identifier which is very useful. You can find it here: http://dvd.identifier.cdfreaks.com/
