NTSC ps2 game to pal

Hi im just back from america and bought a ps2 game in NTSC format.
Could i use software to convert it into paland how would i do it?

there are plenty of tutorials on this m8 use the search.

1-rip dvd to iso image on hard disk
2-use "Y-Fix NTSC2PAL" converter & patch the iso.
3-burn newly PAL-patched iso onto a DVD+R as booktype "DVD-ROM" with either alcohol or dvd decrypter

4-enjoy.

lol, yea ive only been rippin ps2 games for a couple weeks.

I just like to help out when I can because I know/hope the same will be given to me when I need help myself :P

Use DVD Decrypter and select mode > iso > read

then choose where u want to save it to

then from there, run Y-fix and click browse and locate that iso.

it will patch it

then use DVD Decrypter to burn that iso onto a blank dvd but change the mode to mode > iso > write.

I use alcohol to burn isos though so i can choose the booktype as DVD-ROM

comon man theres hundreds of general ps2 back up tutorials. search for it

its just a method used to burn the DVD. If you select it, the ps2 is more likely to treat it as an original disc (i think)

anyway i use it and works great.

the thing is DVD Decrypter wont let me booktype as dvd-rom because of the make of my dvd writer... so i use alcohol to burn because it DOES let me burn as booktype DVD-ROM.


dude this was the 2nd game i ever burned a game and i got it working so you should as well.. but i cant keep answering every little question cos im pretty much a ps2 back up newb also.

p.s you have to use DVD+R discs to burn as dvd-rom booktype.

i obviously havnt burned the game cos i dunno what game your tryin 2 burn anyway.

but thats hte method dude

1)rip to iso
2) patch iso
3) burn iso onto DVD+R using above options
