using A dvd+r dl disk with nero recode I get a error mess. saying out of memory, it's up to date and I 1gb memory on my machine, help please!!!!

Hi;
I have Nero 6.6 with the upgrade. I got the same message with the movie Narnia, but successfully copied a 3 hour miniseries later in the day with 6.6. Finally had to put it on a hard drive with Any DVD & Decrypter, then compress with Easy DVD. Long process. Finally broke down and bought Clone DVD 2 from Slysoft, should have done this a long time ago, end of all copying problems.
