how do you set up a network...i'm a complete noob to this and i need a step by step guide

i had a network set up with Network Magic 2.0, but i had the evaulation version...anyway i'd also like to know what programs make it easy to set up a network

Can't beat a bit of knowledge..Better to not let something set it up for you..

Chances are you will get the same answer..Go to the library and get some M$ and McGraw-Hill networking for dummies books and have a good read..

I have a Microsoft, Networks and the TC/IP Protocol book that runs to 2400+ pages...I have over 5GB of network and related E-Books, But then again, I'm a sys admin..I need to know!
