ok i have nero ultra 7....now im following your instructions but..when i bring nero 4 up from my desktop it does not have the option of create chapters automatically.after i click make a movie it become nero express 3. yet when i go through nero smart start the create chapter is available then i click make a movie and its then again nero express 3..as by your illistration it should be saying nero vision 4 am i not useing an updated version..
First of all, I'm not trying to say anything bad here, but do you have a "legit/fully functional" version of Nero 7? If so, then I don't see any reason(s) why yours would reversed back to Nero Vision Express 3 instead of Nero Vision 4.
Secondly, when followed my "basic guide" as stated in the guide, did you click on "MORE" at the below button? Once you click on MORE, you'll be able to see "Create Chapters Automatically", then simply put a [check mark] on it.
And thirdly, I would recommend you get Nero 7 (general clean tool) to completely wipe out Nero from your system, yes... everything, then re-download (or re-install) Nero back on. Once you've completed the installation process, follow these steps below.
**NOTE: try to or don't overwrite your legit/legal Nero serial over the demo (when you reached that process), instead just follow the installation as usual. Once it's complete, do these.
- restart your computer
- click on Nero StartSmart
- click on Nero ProductCenter (or the burning flames)
- click on Enter New and now put in your LEGIT/LEGAL Nero serial number, then ENTER
Now try to follow the guide again to see if your Nero Vision 4 pop-up alright.

thx mate..well i put an update patch in and it seemed to do the trick, now i have the options from my desktop and it stays on Nero vision 4, maybe it was an outdated version i was useing.
