Torrents always go slow as hell no matter how many/few seeds.

its annoying that ive lost all my original discs :P

Anyone know any http/ftp sites?

Which torrent site do you use most? because I check all the ones you've mentioned, but they all seem to have the same re-cycled torrents.

even the sites just for ps2 like solops2 still come down at like 5 - 8kbs which is just too slow for an ISO.

I am not condoning downloading illegally in anyway, but simply want to offer help to those having trouble with download speeds when using torrent sites. I use utorrent client and see much faster results than previous clients like bittornado. There is an option to type in what port to use, and a guide about how to open this port for use and get maximum speed. I have seen my best speeds with this program and can often average 30-40kbs....often times even higher

You probally get slow speeds is because you didn't foward the port or you tried to download a torrent that has been dead with no seeders.

sorry I should have said... I have forwared 5 specific ports and with my private trackers I can cop at 200KBS+ (non games tho)

So I know this issue is not to do with my network config.

@Ebega uTorrent kills my bandwidth and I can't do anything else online when its downloading a torrent (even with the D/L speeds capped at 30KBS)

@Slice, I cant speak for the others but I did say i've "lost" my original discs ........ :/ :P

@gorge14 goto http://www.portforward.com/ < it has all the info you need to forward ur ports.

last time i used TL i maxed at 580KB/S
but i would not reccomend the site because unless you are already a member or can get an invite from one you are out of luck because they are almost never accepting sign ups.

But putting up the direct links is 100% against the forum rules.
