i followed the manual on http://www.ps2nfo.com/on-line.html but when i tried to use the patched backup it didnt work, it told me to please insert a ps or ps2 format disc or someting, on a red screen, i have the matrix infinity, can anyone please tell me if i haev to replace the dummy because that might be the problem because i didnt, if i dont have to replace the dummy then what is the problem. i used a miramax DVD-R and burnt it at 2x, please reply soon

what game is it? also, you should use better discs.

i did a straight burn with mgs3 subsistence and it worked fine. Memorex is your problem right there.
