Hi everybody - first of all let me say that this is probably the most helpful message board I've ever seen in my life. You guys do an excellent job of helping people out with everything.

Okay, now that the sucking up is over... basically I downloaded Tiger Woods 2006, the iso is 4.38gigs so I'm rebuilding it as I'm lead to believe I should. I used Isobuster to split apart the Iso, and now I'm in the process of putting the resulting files into Nero in order to burn them. Every guide has told me that I should put the files into Nero in EXACTLY the same order that Isobuster displays them - the problem is, Nero automatically puts the folders and files in alphabetical order every single time. I've been trying to do it for nearly an hour, constantly switching the "Sort Files By" option to "Do Not Sort", but every time I drag a file into the Iso I'm making in Nero, it resets itself to sort the files by name. It's driving me mental. I'm using Windows XP and Nero Burning Rom 6.6.0.16

So basically, IS it essential that the files are arranged in the order they originally were? (I'm guessing that the answer is yes). Has anybody else had this problem in Nero? Is there any way I can stop it from doing this? Incidentally, when I split apart the Iso in Isobuster, there were two folders - Iso and UDF - which had exactly the same files. Am I correct in assuming that the UDFs are 'dummy files' and I only need to burn the Iso folder?

Many thanks in advance.

The last time I rebuilt with isobuster and Nero, I dragged and dropped all the files shown in the right window of isobuster into the left hand pane of Nero (in DVD disc and ISO/UDF mode) in the order presented by isobuster. The order did change in Nero but I read that I need not be concerned by that and the burnt image would come out ok, and it did.
My only problem was that any game I rebuilt and burnt to disc could not be recognised as a valid PS2 disc by HD Advance or Swapmagic. So I transfered the re-built image to my PS2 HDD via my PC and Winhiip and that got round the problem.

PC Specs: CPU-C2D E8400, M/B-P5N-E SLI, RAM 4Gig OCZ Platinum rev2 ,VGA- Nvidia 8800GT 512MB, HDD- Hitachi Deskstar SATAII 1TB, 250Gig Maxtor IDE HDD.

Hmmm, well I'm using Swap Magic so it'd be a problem if it can't read the re-built image. Is that a common problem? I'll give it a try anyway, I guess I can always get new discs! Thanks for the help.

barknee: You shouldn't have a problem with that. I rebuilt mine the same way and it works fine with Swap Magic!

Also, Nero does re-organize the files, but that doesn't change the order when it burns.

if you still cant get it to work with Nero you could always use the "CDVDGen" program and drop the files in the same order the appear in ISOBuster....

then add the required volume info & save the .iml from CDVDGEN and then use iml2iso and burn the new iso.

Thats the way I do it (dont use nero) and it works for me.
