I would say, download and install DAXZISO 0.51. It has a really good readme to help you.
Apparently with the lemmings iso you need to use the "sound PPF patch" before you compress it with DAXZISO. I don't know what that is but I am sure someone here knows what it is. Use that on your iso.
Compress your Lemmings iso with DAXZISO, with NC on for sound and video.
Download genesis umd launcher as this is the easiest way to get an x folder.
You can get both daxziso and genesis from here - http://www.psp-hacks.com/category/13
Take the x folder from the genesis folder and put it in the root of your memory stick, and put your daxed lemmings iso in the ISO folder of your memory stick.
Fire up Daxziso and select Lemmings with RunUMD - LoadExec, RAM Table Allocation ON.
It should work. You will also need to have RunUMD installed on your PSP, with the EBOOT.pbp file renamed to runumd.pbp and placed in the UMDEMULATOR folder on your memory stick.
Hope you get it working, I just read all that back rto myself and its a bit of a long process!!
Good Luck!

wow, ok
or you can try downloading this http://www.ps2nfo.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&file=viewarticle... and following just extract 4 files out of your iso like stated in the instructions to make it work.
i kno i was a bit general, but all you need is that file that i posted and your lemmings iso,
there are instructions in the file that should help.

Your method is definately easier to use Joeva, and the way that I had it working for a while, but I thought that as Dax now supports Lemmings I would suggest that method, as it lets you run the game from an iso not an unpacked folder. But, your method is definately less complex, especially for a new PSPer!
And Absk300, heres the PPF patch -

Hey Absk300,
There are two ways of running this game. For Joeva's way, do this -
This is a simple NO UMD FiX by pSyPSP:
1) Extract Lemmings_EUR_PSP-pSyPSP (this won't be named this way, but this is YOUR Lemmings ISO) to a folder on your PC using iSOBuster or similar utility.
2) From your original PSP_GAME folder move the following to the LEMMINGS folder from this pack: ICON0.PNG, PARAM.SFO, PIC1.PNG, and SND0.AT3.
3) Now move the USRDIR from your original to the LEMMINGS folder from this pack.
This version fully works and has sound- enjoy!
NOTE: Although this is labeled a "NO UMD" release, that just means you don't need the actual Lemmings UMD in the drive to play the game, however, you will need a UMD in the drive to run it (any UMD game should work).
Or, take your iso and apply the sound ppf patch, then dax compress it and try running it through dax like I said earlier. I think it may not have worked due to you not having the patch on. Oh, and when using runUMD starts up, press X to run the game, do NOT press O to extract the files. Also, when I said rename EBOOT.pbp, keep the original EBOOT.pbp in the runumd folder, and copy another renamed to runumd.pbp in the UMDEMULATOR folder in your root.
Hope this helps, I am gonna try to get Lemming running on my PSP, so I'll let you know if you have any luck.
Peace.

hey absk300,
I can confirm that the method I suggested works as I have it up and running on my PSP.
Do you have the following?
MS:\-ISO - Lemmings.iso.dax (with sound ppf patch applied and compressed with NC on for video and audio)
- x ( you can get this with Genesis UMD Launcher)
- UMDEMULATOR ( with the contents of the UMDEMULATOR folder from DAXZISO 0.51 as well as the EBOOT.pbp from RUNUMD renamed to runumd.pbp)
- PSP -
----------GAME-
- DAXZISO 0.51
- UMDEMULATOR V.08c
- RUMUMD ver00101a1
With this etup you should be able to runn the Lemmings dax, RAM Allocation ON, RunUMD - LoadExec.
Good Luck!

just take your iso, and click on it with WinRAR, you should now see a folder that says psp_game and umd.data
extract those to your desktop then go into your psp_game folder you should see sysdir and usdir
then you follow the instructions from there and you will be fine

Good to hear you got it working dude, yeah Worms and SFA 3 etc work on the same basis, they don't need the ppf patch, but check the Maxconsole compatibility list for the individual settings in Dax etc.

Why do you want to extract files? You're trying to play an ISO right? Just press X and the game runs.

I'm having problems with the Psy fix after following all the steps mentioned.
Everything seems to be going well but when I press 'X' to launch the games I just get the message 'STARTING . . .' and then nothing. (tried waiting for 5 mins)
Any ideas?

He was supposed to press X but he pressed O.
Skunk- Do you have a UMD inserted? This is where most people go wrong.

No luck.. tried copying all the files again and with a few different UMD's inserted.
It doesn't crash or anything, I can still press home to get back to the menu. It just says 'Starting . . .' then nothing :(
I can hear the UMD drive make noises for a few seconds then silence..

hmm perhaps you have a bad iso copy?
and i have noticed that lemmings cannot work without the corrupted data icon.
its the only game that i can't rename the launcher folders.
so change it to lemmings
and lemmings% and see if it works.
