Yeah my much the title says it...im shure my computer is pretty good, i practically jus made it......so ill start off with css- i start it up few minutes into it freezes and the error messages sayin sry blah blah has to close sry for the inconvinience...same problem with fear but takes little longer for it to freeze then "sry fear has to close...." and bf2 jus freezes then jus closes when it wants to ...please anybody have any idea y this is happening....and help much appreciated

need to know the specs of your computer to give you a solid answer. But, it sounds like memory issues.

Check out this website, and download the software (it is free) and it can check out if you are having memory issues.

asus A8v -motherboard
amd 64 3500+ (939) - cpu
geil 1gb dual channel -memory
geforce 6800gt (agp) - videocard
1 - 200gb and 1 - 40 gb hard drive
500wat power supply
1dvd burner and 1 dvd drive


about the memtest how do run it cuz from those instructions they have i have no idea how to even start it

I didnt get memtest to run but i did get to run microsoft mem test and all the tests passed on that......anybody got any other ideas?

try the memtest86

u just have to create a boot disk ( i suggest a CD, just burn the ISO to a CDRW or a normal CD)
then make sure ur BIOS has CD b4 hard drive in teh boot order

when the memtest boots, it just starts on its own


btw, it takes like 8 hrs to run, so do it overnight
