This is my guide on how to rip any dvd using a mac:
You will need the following programs: Mactheripper
dvd2onex v2.0.4
toast7 titanium
all of these are available on the internet,(just google them), or if your a limewire user theyre there too.
Step1. Ripping
Mac the ripper is the program you need to use too rip a dvd, it features demacrovision and sets the new region code too region free(0)
1.insert your dvd you wish too copy. close all programs that may pop up when you put it in.
2. Open up mac the ripper
3. all the settings that are already there are preety much perfect unless you want to change the region code or which part of the dvd you wish too copy (under mode)
4.if ure happy with the preset settings just hit go!
5. if it is a sucsess the friendly old bomber man will tell you not to break the law, and hes right you know.
6. rember were you saved the dvd
step2. compressing
1. open up dvd2onex
2. select the mode you wish too use, but for this guide im going too show how too use the full disc copy option.
3.find the dvd in the finder menue that pos up
4.hit the green button
5. were it says output type select image
6.press go or whatever the button says.
7. hope it all go's well
step3. burning
1.open up toast 7 titanium
2.click on the copy logo at the top
3.on the left there is a muenu, selct the one that says image file
4. in finder locate were u saved the image file of the dvd, not the mac the ripper file
5.drag that into the area on toast
6.hit the red button
i used this method to burn the matrix reloded and it played fine on my ps2 and looked great. if you wish too copy a xbox or ps2 game then look below:
all you need for copying a ps2 or xbox game is the toast program
step1, insert game
step2:open up toast
step 3:select the copy option at the top
step4. selct the dvd/cd copy bit on the left
step5. click the red buton and fllow the rest (were to save ect.)
step6. once that is done eject the game and insert a blank dvd
step7. click on the copy option at the top of toast again if it not still selected
step8.click on image file at the left hand side
step9.drag the game image file into toast
step10 burn it by pressing the red button
hope it works for u, worked perfect for me, and for god sake dont complai to me about how it wont load in my ps2, get a modchip or a swapmagic disc!
