PSP Help Tried Everything

Hi im new. I've read from this forum many times and decided to register.
I also have some questions regarding my PSP. Firstly I've tried everything and been using Fastloader. I've asked my friend and all he could help me with was get everything to work. It's just that I didnt understand a single thing he said to me telling me how to get ISOS working with Fastloader. So I'm here to learn. Firstly I've Downloaded my isos from a torrent so it came in .rar format with many files that hav (001) (002). I've extracted everything and it comes up with PSP_GAME(FOLDER) and UMD_DATA.BIN. Then I Used VCDXROM to come up with a .ISO format. I also used PSPUNPACK.exe to make a EBOOT.PBP file which showed the FIFASTREET background. Regarding my format layout for my PSP it is:
PSP FIRMWARE V.2.0 (My friend said he tricked it so it was 2.0 but still is 1.5)
F:+ISO-FIFA STREET.ISO/DEMO.ISO
|
+PSP+ GAME+ -FASTLOADER- EBOOT.PBP (File that came with FASTLOADER)
| -FASTLOADER%- EBOOT.PBP (File that came with FASTLOADER)
+ISOMISC-BACKPICK
|
+ISOSPLIT(NOTHING)
I'm wondering which part I've gone wrong. When i was finished with all this i exit usb mode and tried to run the FIFA STREET file but a message said this file is corrupted and game cannot be run. I believe that this file isnt really corrupted because I've tried other files and they work fine. I think that its my layout form that is wrong which i am asking help for from you guys. I'm really eager to learn and hopefully a PSP expert can help me understand it in the simpliest form possible(I'm Not that dumb, Just average with PSPs).

O yeah and forgot to tell you my friend got me BURNOUT LEGENDS and when i checked on my PSP the layout for folders that made me curious were F:\PSP\GAME\BURNOU~1% and inside was a EBOOT.PBP also the other folder was F:\PSP\GAME\BURNOUT 1 also inside was another EBOOT.PBP file but smaller in size. Please explain this weird thing my friend did 4 me thx. BTW He got the game working...but still i want to LEARN thx.

Now remember when you said that you saw 001 and 002.. the first time you opened them you should have seen your iso right after. Because once you got to psp_game and umd.data, you are now inside the iso itself. So you gave yourself an extra step of rebuilding when all you had to do was drag and drop that file anywhere and you would have extracted the iso.
I must admit tho that I checked the compatibility list @ http://forums.psphacks.net/index.php/topic,13528.0.html and it shows fifa street 2 as not working, maybe thats the one you are trying to play but idk. so that could be a reason its not working.
Having corrupted data on your psp is normal, looking at your folder set up.
However i have a question.
Have you been able to start the fastloader program? Have you loaded any isos using that program?
Your layout looks fine to me.
See the way the games work for the most part is you get a back-up game(usually in iso format) and you need an emulator to play it.
Much in the same way if you buy a psp umd you still need a psp to play it. You start your emulator and then choose the game you want to play.
As for burnout it has its own launcher. burnout can be played in iso format but your friend opted to make a burnout with its own launcher by using the kxpliot to create eboots for its own launcher. and to understand more about the eboots, you will need to learn about kxploit which is really the start of learning psp hacking and exploits.
I applaud that you are eager to learn. Here is a great site for that http://www.psphacking101.com/index.php <--- they have videos that you can put on to your psp and watch and learn while you are going wherever. They start from the very basics to stuff for advanced users like changing your fonts and such. don't get ahead of yourself and make sure you read and watch from epidode 1 on out.

Hey thx for ur help Joeva. Forgot to mention your name as well >.<. Neways i still have a problem...u sed mayb its the ISO that i download like FIFA street mite not be compatible. I've tried the whole thing agen but with a DIFFERENT ISO. I downloaded some random ISO called DBZ SHIN BUDOKAI. This one i think would be compatible but when i run it it seemed to work but...after 10seconds of loading my PSP turns off. I dont know whats going on plz help. And im just checking with you that if i should or shouldnt be using KXPLOIT to get the EBOOT.PBP files into my PSP cos thats wat i usd to get the DBZ Iso onto the PSP. Thx for ur help. Plz reply soon thx.
P.S If you could give me a step by step guide and showing me exactly what i'm doing wrong and what i need to do it'd help a lot. Btw my firmware shows that i got 2.0 but my friend says he tricked the PSP to belive it was 2.0 while it actually is 1.5 and im using BITCOMET to download my games.
Also I'm using the tools below:
PBP Unpacker
WinRAR
VCDXROMX(not using after u told me that i rebuilded myself a step)
ISO Shrinker (used it once but probably not using it agen unless necessary)
KXPLOIT
FASTLOADER v0.7
and BITCOMET(for iso downloads)

Oh and i forgot. Fastloader WORKS, and the DEMO.ISO works as well....oh and can u plz gimme a link to where the compatible games are for fastloader plz that wud be great thx.

Hey im pretty sure it isnt the ISOS, because ive tried another few, one called Samurai Warriors: State of war and still after i run it my PSP turns off agen. I think its either something im using thats causing this like maybe fastloader or KXPLOIT or something

shin bodukai does work but you are going to need 3 more things for it.
you are going to need umdemulator

and you are going to need this fix for mph http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PNAWNGCP, disregard the file in that that says 2.1.1 decryptor, you don't need it right now, just copy the flash folders into the mph gameloader folder.
set iso emulation mode in umdemulator to system menu, and then after that go to mph and shin budakai will work.
You will need the same thing for samari warriors.

Oh im sorry i was overexcited MPH loader just loeaded my UMD. It didnt load my ISO. I tried to load my ISO then off UMD Emulator but still my PSP shutsdown. Same thing with Flashloader, My PSP just shuts down. And when i use the KXPLOIT tool for the folder that says e.g FIFA% it has a EBOOT.PBP file with data. But with the other file called FIFA without the % has 0data in the EBOOT file. Plz reply soon thanks

dude, set iso emulation mode in umd emulator to system menu..
then go down to dbz or sammarai warriors and press x, then it will take you out to the menu,
now you go to mph and it will load your iso.

Hey umm ive done all that but still. When i load it it shuts down my PSP. Is it my PSP? have u seen this problem before? ive done exactly what ur instructions tell me.

you have the fix? you might have a bad copy of the iso, try a different copy.

Hmmmm Only so far Demo.iso works. LOL hmmm weird cos my friend downloaded the same ISO but it works for his.

there should be two folders,
it should look something like this
wabchanger
wabchanger%
you take those and put it in your PSP>Game Folder.
then start it up like its an emulator, and chose what version you want to trick your psp to.
either choose reset, or trick it again to 1.5

Hi everybody! I'm also new here, interesting to know the stuff you have done here.
I would like to find out how to create the eboot files as I have downloaded the NFS(Most Wanted) and I have only the ISO file.
Currently I'm having Fastloader 0.8 and my PSP is ver. 1.5
Am I correct to say that the game should work if I place the ISO file I have in the ISO folder at the root of my memory stick?

Ok im here to help while JOEVA is away. Joeva helped me get mine working so ill help u. Firstly you are right in saying putting the ISO into the ISO folder in ur PSP root. Make sure the extension is .ISO tho cos it will not work with other extension like .rar. 2ndly check that ur rooot format looks something like this

Hey JOEVA its me agen. I tried having both DBZ and the Samurai game on the PSP but somehow the Samurai game doesnt work and the DBZ game does. Samurai game justs resets my PSP like last time. Do i need to change the version agen? And also i tried putting on a game called NBA but it seems like it has its own loader. Its loader is either very slow or i am too eager (it seemd like it wasnt loading). So after this i tried the same process i did with the DBZ game and it shuts down my psp agen. >.< please help thanks man

astro_boy-You don't need to use the MPH Game Loader for NFS Most Wanted. It works using direct load in UMDEmulator. Download UMDEmulator from here: http://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id=92 . Extract the files to your PSP, and you should have a file format like this:
minus the MPHGAMELOADER folder in the root of your memory stick and the MPHGAMELOADER and MPHGAMELOADER% folders in PSP\GAME (Sorry, couldn't be bothered editing the pic).
Run UMDEmulator and make sure it is in "direct load" mode.

Hi everyone thanks for your help. I've tried by placing the ISO file in the ISO folder and it works!!
Thanks everyone, you've been such a great help.
By the way, does anyone knows where I can file more ISO files as I'm new and need some advise where to get them. If possible, a direct download is better. I've tried to find some ISO sites but all are torrent files which are not convenient for me to download.
Please advise.... Thanks!!!
