hey bignewbb te error means something inside you psp is broken, it happened to me before.you'll have to get it fixed, or trade it in.

He got it in the mail this afternoon, i have been waaaay to busy to solder it in for him though. Hopefully I can do it tomorrow afternoon sometime. Havent seen anybody post a successful install yet, it would be sick if I was the first lol.....

Ok everyone. Great news for 1.5 users.
If you are 2.6, download Downdater test Final from PS2NFO.com and welcome to the club.

Now that everyone is version 1.5 what next?
Lets try and play a shiny new UMD.
Dam the PSP wants to update. Well, How about making the PSP think it has updated. Forget UMDemulator, MPH Loader , Runumd and all the other progs, they have had their time. May they rest in peace.
DevHook .44 is on the streets and can emulate 2.71! yes thats right, if the PSP is RUNNING 2.71 then no need to update. Sweet.
But wait, theres more........................
It has an iso emulator BUILT IN! Super Sweet.
Now no need for prx swapping or confusing ppf patchs (at least for a while anyway :-p)
If you need the file. Download from PS2NFO.COM (register its free, and download the FULL version (it includes the FW of 2.71 ))

Ummm...you're a bit late. Everyone already knew those things.

And BTW not all PSPs can be downgraded only those that aren't factory 2.5/2.6 and those without a TA-082 mobo can downgrade.
