Constantly Loosing DSL Connection

every time I try to connect my computer online in
the morning I loose my driver for the Ethernet on my motherboard.

I tried to reinstall my Ethernet driver for my motherboard
and that works but everytime I turn off my computer it seems to
loose the DSL connection I also tried it with a separate Linksys Ethernet Card
to connect my Ethernet wire and it does the same thing?

i also tried to disconnect my modem and changed a

the etherntet wire to a new one...

can you guys please help!!!!

Sounds kinda creepy to me. I'd run antivirus and spyware removal tools.

i ran whole virus scan with NOrton but it has not found anything...

what spyware removal should i use?

are you downloading overnight? My modem and routers have to be reset like every few gb's when I'm downloading with bittorrent

try HijackThis and post a log on afterdawn. I think some1 put a trojan on ur computer and is dl stuff from your computer at night. Not sure though maybe I'm just suspecious, but it wouldn't hurt to check for trojans just in case

When you say you are loosing the driver (are you sure).
If that is correct, then the device manager will show up with unknown hardware.
Check the device manager and see if the device says it is loaded with the driver and it is working correctly.
You should be able to make a loopback connector to keep the port in an permanently up state.

Just connect pin 1 to 3 and pin 2 to 6, you don't need to worry about the other pins as they are not used.

If the PC passes the above tests and still shows as ok, then just try a reboot in the morning and see if this wakes the connection up.
If not, then try to reset the modem by totally unplugging it and then reconnect.
