hi guys, i have some old audio files which can be played on windows media player. unfortunately, the files are not wma or mp3 or any other audio file. they are listed as 'files' when i open the properties menu and the details information on the windows explorer.

now, all i need is any info on how to convert these 'file'-type files into any audio format, since i know that there are lots of rippers and converter softwares (ie, wma to mp3). i am using imtoo converter by the way. and the origins of the 'file'-type audio files are from kazaa... waaaay back when i liked it.
