hi

i am trying to convert some old cassette tapes to cd


i need help in selecting the right software and if any tuturials are out there for me to use

much appreciated for any help avaliable

Audacity will work for the software part. Here is a Tutorial on the subject. Not for Audacity specifically, but it will get you started.

You will need a plug like this...


to record your music. I use Audacity for my audio editing chores but it can not compare to a program such as Polderbits when it comes to audio recording. You will also need a stereo or seperate pre-amp. You will hook the cables up accordingly. Ex. "Line Out" on the stereo and "Line In" on the PC.
