Hi Guys. I've read alot of people with similar problems to me regarding fluctuating buffer levels and slow burn time.
I've feel like i've done the usual. i.e : http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/260038
I'm still getting the problem though. DMA is on for all my devices yet lately its taking 40 minutes to burn a dvd whereas it used to be 15-20 mins.
Am I missing something really obvious? I even tried a system restore to an earlier date but it failed (didn't let me restore to an earlier date.)
Help would be appriciated thanks!

Thanks for the reply gwendolin. I did the updates as suggested. Unfortunately the problem remains. Still getting massive fluctuations in buffer levels and increased burning time.
One thing that is bothering me now, is when the autorun activates when I but a blank CD in. The pop up gives me no option:
Also, if you notice. It says CD-Drive now instead of DVD-RAM Drive?

Sorry to be a pain. This problem is really getting to me.... :(
I've read some comments where people have mentioned 'uninstalling the IDE controllers so the windows default ones are used'. Is it therefore ok to uninstall these controllers marked in red below? Is that what the comments mean?
