i use AnyDVD and DVD Shrink to back up hostel, it took over 2 hours, i think is because all the bonus features, the multi-part behind the scenes features is like 1 hour and 30 minutes long, I make another copy, and see if a can just copy the movie itself, using AnyDVD. but this to programs work perfect together. do you guys took that long to back up hostel? like 2 hours?

You need to download the AnyDVD program, then run the key pgm they send you. Actually if you have it already installed, just keep it in your puter and go from there.
Make sure that you save the E-mail they send you with your registration on it, burn it to a floppy, burn it to a CD, make a couple of copies and store it in a safe place, never had to replace my data but have heard that it is hard to get another key from them.

Pardon me, but Slysoft is not currently running a discount, BUT, If had it to do over, I would buy CloneDVD 2 & AnyDVD as a package. You save BIG on that. It's the BEST 2 programs I ever bought!:)

Use The Best Media for The Best Burns! TYs, Verbs,(Made in Taiwan) Sony MIJs (YUDEN000 T02), Sony Made in Taiwan DVD+R 16x, Maxell MIJ, RITEK G05.

Here's the tricky thing for those of you who say it is illegal for us to copy a dvd. It's called Fair Use, basically it allows us to have 1(one) copy of each product as a backup(FOR PERSONAL HOME NONE MONETARY USE). however... its not the copying of the dvd's that's illegal. What IS illegal is circumventing the copy protection (the regular encryption put on all retail dvd movies).

what does this mean for you and I? basically no fed. is going to be going after you unless the copy is not ONLY being used as a backup. If you copy a dvd (even if your not getting monetary benifiets, say posting it on a bt site) and its not for personal archiveal uses then you are at risk.

so basically its not illegal, but it is... yes the laws have given us a grey area!
