Nic smell when running unit

I bought this computer on Craigslist.

With my hardware and it's hardware I built a Kick ask computer.

Here's the problem: Previous owner with family all smoked. When the computer is running it stinks like hell. No doubt it's a nic unit.

Here's the question which I will post on multiple sites on the Internet: How does one rid the machine of the odor?

I am working with an idea right now however i dont want to influence any ideas.

I will be returning and posting a conclusion on what had worked.

i'd strip the tower down to wipe the case & drives down. clean & wipe the cpu fan & any other fans. open up the psu to clean the inside of it & to wipe down the fan(s)

@Zero: and yes, you are. :) Maybe you should have bought the computer from the no smoking section. ROFLMAO!

Although I haven't smoked in over 3 months now, I would bet you are one of those folks who bitch about people smoking outside, in your space. :)

To get rid of the smoke odor, fire that mother up, and squirt water on the CPU.
