just built my first computer today. went to turn it on and i got nothing. pretty sure i got everything plugged into where it goes....hook me up with some suggestions guys.

make sure the power switch and reset switch connections are on correctly. double check polarity on them.

yes i had that problem before and all it was was i had the power swtch crossed

Check everything inside is plugged in OK, check sockets and fuses etc. then report back.

so i played with a few things like you said and nothing different. so i took the whole thing apart and put it back together and it worked....dont really know what wasnt right, but doesnt matter now cause its all working. thanks for the help guys.

The ATX plug could have been loose, or may have just not noticed something.
Glad we got a result, anyway.

That's always my motto too. If it's not working, take it apart, put it back together, and if that doesn't fix it, then you have a problem.
