I have a PS2 game, as a .ROM file. There is a couple other files in a folder that goes with it. supposedly it is openable with an emulator, but I was wondering if there was a way to convert it or make it into an image file, like .ISO or .BIN Does anybody know? PLEASE HELP if you do know. Thanks in advance. I can give any more info if you have questions or anything.

No no, it's Fire Pro Wrestling Returns (japanese). These are the names of all the other files: SLPM_660.82, A folder called MODULES with these files, IOPRP300.IMG, LIBSD.IRX, MCMAN.IRX, MCSERV.IRX, MTAPMAN.IRX, PADMAN.IRX, SDRDRV.IRX, SIO2MAN.IRX

I don't know if it's even possible to do what I'm asking, but I'm hoping someone would know enough to tell me something. So any replies or help is greatly appreciated. Basically I'm wondering if there's a way to take the .ROM and these files if needed and convert them to an image file to burn to DVD that could be read.

hello

you have there the contents of the iso, which is not good

did you download it,if so,have you still got the rar files?

if not,i can show you how to rebuild the image using those files, but first it would be easier if you had the original rar files,so i could show you how to extract it properly

nope i didn't get it like that, i got it from a friend and he sent me all the files as is. but i'm not really a beginner when it comes to this kind of stuff, so if you showed me how to make these into an image I would probably get it. Anyway hope to see a reply soon.

hello

hopefully there is no single file over 2 gb....if there is,you will need the file order

anyways,do this

open Nero burning rom...(you will need this)
select DVD-ROM (UDF/ISO)
click new
drag and drop all the files in there (dont open that folder called modules, just drag the whole folder in there)
if your list is correct from what you posted earlier, you should see> ROM/SLPM_660.83/MODULE FOLDER
then burn it

cheers!!!

Ok, and if you do not have Nero let me first say, sorry
http://home.earthlink.net/~moderator/id4.html

there is a tutorial on how to do it both with Nero, which is very simple. And without Nero which is quite a bit more involved.

The says the total size of the disc is 744mb. If I do burn it in order, what order do the files go in?

hello

i am starting to think this is a cd based game, anyway you can find that out from your friend?

edit, from what little i seen about this game,it should be a 2 cd disk set

so,you need to burn it to cd disk
now this is where i'm a bit unsure,as i have never done it before
you can either try and use the above method, but this time use cd settings
or have a look at this thread,na dtry and convert the files to dvd disk format

http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/332977

but as you have already have the files there, you wont need isobuster

just scan the files with scanlite, importantly the elf file, and the IOPRPimage file
but i would try and scan them all, even in the subfolders, just in case you miss one that should have been scanned

I tried converting it to a DVD with scanlite, burnt it exactly like you said, it didn't work. I'm thinking I might know why. It is missing some files, shouldn't there be a SYSTEM file and maybe a couple other files? Is there something I am supposed to do with the .ROM file? I don't know it's just not working. I don't have any CDs so I can't try it that way, but I'm pretty sure all the files are more than what can fit on a CD anyway.
