lol, was in the middle of replying to your first post :P

anyway, yes they will work.

To play the games on it you just transfer them to the SD card using the software that comes with the M3.

You cannot use action replay on it as far as I know.

Yes you can play GBA games on it, I have a few on my M3.

Chances are that the generic cards off eBay will work fine, however I will not give a firm answer to this as there are some branded SD cards that don't work, so obviously there will be some unbranded cards that will work, and some that won't.

If your asking about cheap memory cards, I got a freebie 32MB Kodak CF that works :P

I also have a 512MB Kingston CF that works.

I also know that my friends Kingston 1GB SD card works in the M3 SD.

I find Kingston is a reasonably cheap brand name that seems very compatable with the M3 products.

You could also try Sandisk products.

Yes that passcard will work. (didn't realise it had been released already)

And wether you want 1GB or 512MB depends on your budget, and what you will use it for.

My 512 currently has 10 DS games, 3 GBA games and several hombrews on it. However if you also wanted to store music and video on it, you may want to consider getting a 1GB. (I don't need music or video as I use my PSP for that)

The amount of games you can fit on will vary depending on the filesize of the games.

i just wanted a few ds games at a time so if you could fit 10 ds games on 512 then it's good. so is this all i need then

http://www.divineo.com/cgi-bin/div-us/dd-ds-m3cfp2

then an sd card then after that i am good to go right.

Sort of, it means they're currently out of stock but are getting new stock within the 7 days.

You could try kicktrading.ca:
http://www.kicktrading.ca/index.php?cPath=27&osCsid=b8a8760a408cc...

That link should bring a list of all M3 adapters and wether they are in stock or not.

I've never used kicktrading as I live in the UK so divineo.co.uk is a much better option for me.

Hi guys, I was wondering whether the M3 comes with any PC-specific software that MUST be used in order to get the most out of it. I have a Mac, and as I assume any accompanying software is Windows-only, I was wondering what I will and won't be able to do if I buy the M3. I can of course drag and drop to an SD card, all that stuff ... I just can't run Windows software. Any help would be appreciated!

Yes it does come with some software. Yes you almost always have to use the software for the games to work.

Can you not use a virtual machine or something similar on your mac?

I'm thinking about buying a DS lite but I had a few questions. The m3 and passkey probably wont work with the ds lite right?

And are there any options for smaller passkey/m3? It's pretty bulky isn't it? Thanks.

you can flash your passkey firmware so it works on ds lite,
you can also flash your ds firmware so you don't need a passkey.
look around for flashme on google.

1. What can the M3 emulate and how well?
2. Is it the best device like this on the market right now?
3. What will I need to make it work on my DS Lite?

My signature sucks. And I'm not trying to be funny.

I just read the review for the Max Media Launcher ... does anyone have this and what is the BEST passkey for this...

i really want to use ds and gba backups on this ...

i was reading a review on the SuperCard SD review but it was said that there is "slowdown" playing gba games? btw that will hold NDS images correct or no *it didnt specify but i assume gba only considering it fits in the gba slot*...

the one i am looking to buy is the M3 Perfect SD *thanks brakken for the well written review* ... it sounds like that is all i need rite? or will the max media launcher be required..

thanks
