I'm having problems burning copies of a copy with Nero for whatever reason. I've never had this problem before, but now sometimes, when I got to make an exact copy of a copy I already have, it goes about halfway, and says either Data error or cyclical redundancy error. What does this mean? What went wrong?

P.S. Is Nero Recode 2 used to burn the movie? or rip the movie??

If you are using Nero Recode then you are using the correct program. Make sure that the disc you are trying to copy is clean and free of any scrathches and use good quality media.

Recode will actually Rip the movie and then burn.

Hey thanks. I tried doing what you said, using Recode 2. It seems that it recognizes the movie title, but then it always freezes, and can't continue. Do you think that maybe it's the media I'm using thats causing this? That's my guess, that it can't read off the media I used. Which media do you recomend?

I recommend Verbatim or Sony thay are made in japan. If you can get hold of Taiyo Yuden then you cant go wrong.
