does anyone know the latest on the whole limewire lawsuit.
I am using using the pro version is it safe to use?
or should i switch to frostwire?

Frostwire is an open-source P2P proggy that runs on the Gnutella network, and is based on Limewire (Same interface/features etc)
Frostwire was invented late 2005 because the creator of Limewire thought about placing blocking code (under RIAA pressure, who else) into limewire to weed out copyrighted filesharing activity. Frostwire was made by some of the Limewire team to allow peers to continue freedom of filesharing without restrictions, and still use (something that resembles) their beloved Limewire.
Also, F-Wire is based outside America, which relieves them of any legal issues presumably.

Well if you don't know what your downloading then you'll get infected ebay, Limewire doesnt give you viruses, only if you download a infected file, its very obivous too if its infected as there like 0.2 kb on there lol, just make sure its the right file size etc and you'll be fine..

Sam with morpheus. Just don't get the files that are compressed and only like 0.xxkb.

Last I heard it came with all the viruses/spyware etc. bundled into it's
software.

i've used limewire pro for a year and havent got a virus ever. like rav009 said, just watch what you are downloading and never download software.
